Megyn Kelly: Santa & Jesus "are white"

By Dennis Loo (12/12/13)

Faux News anchor Megyn Kelly, responding to a Slate story from an African-American woman (Aisha Harris) about Santa's depiction as a white man, set the record straight:

For all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white. But this person is maybe just arguing that we should also have a black Santa. But, you know, Santa is what he is, and just so you know, we're just debating this because someone wrote about it, kids.

A little later in this segment she also states that Jesus was also white.

All of this is quite interesting.

If Jesus was a real historical figure then he was Mediterranean.

And if Santa were real, given where he lives at the North Pole, he'd likely look like the other humans who live at the poles. In other words, he'd look like an Eskimo.

In which case, Santa ought to let Megyn discover him in her living room on Xmas morning.

But then again, she might attribute his swarthy skin to chimney dust.
