Gun Owners of America: “Broken Family” Killed Trayvon Martin
By Dennis Loo (11/10/13)
On November 7, 2013 Larry Pratt, Gun Owners of America’s executive director, declared on Steve Malzberg’s Internet radio show that Trayvon Martin was killed by his “broken family”:
"Probably what killed her son was the broken family that he was forced to deal with," claimed Pratt. "That’s often an indicator that a young man is going to have trouble, of either race, of any race."
You see, George Zimmerman was not Trayvon’s killer. White supremacy and the oppression of black people – with blacks seen as criminal merely for their presence - didn’t kill Trayvon Martin. Guns don’t kill people. Divorces kill people.
By this logic, Zimmerman was the enforcer of family unity, the Avenging Angel in Defense of Marriage.
This of course has nothing to do with the fact that Zimmerman recently separated from his wife Shellie, who publicly declared her strong suspicion that Zimmerman was guilty of murdering Trayvon.
Zimmerman better make sure nothing bad happens to him because Larry Pratt might declare that a broken family killed Zimmerman.
